Pifi+ not recognized by Runeaudio 0.3 beta

Hi,

I'm desperately trying to get my Pifi+ card working with Runeaudio. I uncommented this section in /boot/config.txt:

# Uncomment one of these lines to enable an audio interface
#device_tree_overlay=hifiberry-dac
#device_tree_overlay=hifiberry-dacplus
device_tree_overlay=hifiberry-digi
#device_tree_overlay=hifiberry-amp
#device_tree_overlay=iqaudio-dac
#device_tree_overlay=iqaudio-dacplus

After a reboot, I still cannot see the option in MPD. Did I forget anything else in config?
Debug doesn't show this card either...

so "device_tree_overlay=hifiberry-digi" should work.

- check the debug output for errors (MENU->Debug)
- did you edit this ffile on Windows? (check lineendings)

Hi Frank,

No obvious errors in debug, it simply won't show the hardware card:

I edited /boot/config.txt using nano via a SSH session.

Funny thing, if I enable Hifiberry DAC, MPD will show it as active but of course no sound
going out to my DAC. The Digi+ driver won't do anything.

Can this be a hardware fault?

Hi Frank,

so enabling I2S = on in the config should not be necessary?

I'm kind of wondering if there's anything else I could have done wrong because obviously some people could get the card to work. But no luck for me...

Success!!!

Finally got it to work, after moving the board it suddenly turned on in MPD. Probably a hardware issue, I'll investigate this. Thanks again for your help!
