yes, the Teradak is external, connected to the I2S pinout of the C1+, the same way you would do that with a PI B+.
Example:
Not comparable with your Audio-gd ES9018
The HiFi Shield does not support dsd, I only tested with .dsf, .flac and .wav

Well, OK... I think I'll have to ask kingwa (AUdio-gd) for the i2s issue with RJ45.

seems like you have done the trick again. Just for me who needs everything spelled out. The yet to be released image for the C1+ will work on the C1, too? And it will still contain the possibility to integrate the pipe to brutefir (have not had a chance to tr this one but it is onl postponed not forgotten).
