I'm trying to make a decent setup for reducing sd-corruption since my RPi will mostly be savagely turned off (e.g. hard power off).
The best option would be to make the rootfs RO and use an OverlayFS on a RW partition. OpenWRT uses this and I really like it.
But OverlayFS isn't supported with the 3.12.26-1 kernel. I'm assuming it can be built as a module but I need the source to the kernel to achieve that and, well, the package for 3.12.26-1 kernel soruce are long gone (even the ALARM repo is gone).
I'm assuming the Rune Audio devs have it somewhere for safe keeping? Would you be able to share it please?
If not, do you have any idea when the distro will be updated next (newer kernel version maybe)?
Any other solution for having the root FS as Read Only ?
