Raspberry P2 and DSD

Postby rickchow » 11 May 2015, 13:57

Hi I'm new user of Rune Audio. Am using Raspberry Pi 2.

The Sounds quality is great. And UI is great. Like the album image too.

Some questions.

I have some DSD files in .dff which can play. Is there any tuning possible for DSD on Pi 2?

Rune Audio does not seem to pick up & recognise DSD files in .dsf and .iso files format. Is that possible or am i doing something wrong?

When playing a .dff file, the playback screen shows dsd bit, 352.8 kHZ. Is that native DSD or was it converted to PCM?

How do i enable native DSD playback with DSD-over-PCM.

I have DSD capable dac. IFI iDSD Micro.

Thanks for a great system !

Hi ,

RuneAudio depends on MPD.
MPD can play DSD files in dsf and dff format only.
Please read .
