So I fixed my new dac from Iquadio, all aligned properly and spacers fixed.
Hit the power and got a red light but no green from the Pi and a green power light from the dac.
A wisp of smoke quickly appeared and a whiff of burning at which point I pulled the power.
Can anyone suggest the root cause - Pi or Dac?
I never even opened Rune but if there is a fault I need to know where it lies, and if not with me then which board do I return?
