RASPBERRY PI 3(MODEL B) + release: v0.3-beta DHCP Issue?

I have issue with RASPBERRY PI 3(MODEL B) + release: v0.3-beta (23/03/2016) (file is: RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img) on my network; i.e. it cannot obtaining an IP address form a DHCP server running on linksys lrt224. Even if I set a static IP address (settings done on HDMI monitor + mouse), I cannot connect remotely.

I have made an additional test using RASPBERRY PI (MODEL B+) + Release: v0.3-beta (29/10/2014), and everything works as expected!

Did someone had a similar experience, any workaround?

FYI

Same RASPBERRY PI 3 (MODEL B) now running LibreELEC (LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.0.2.img.gz) works like a charm on same network.

Therefore, my conclusion is... there is an issue with the combination of RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img + linksys lrt224
