I followed the instructions and when i turn on the pi all I get is the copywrite and it asking for my runeaudio login and password. what am I doing wrong

Almighty, if you don't your IP address, you can use Fing to scan your LAN. You can get Fing for your smartphone and I found there are even windows and linux flavors.
