Raspberry Pi display monitor

Postby asilker » 17 Sep 2015, 17:21

I'm happily running a raspberry pi with runeaudio out to DAC and integrated amp. Just wondering if there is a command to change the attached display from the root coding commands to a display of what the server is doing. As small used computer monitors go for fairly cheap, I'd like to try having the playback UI page on display on my music cabinet. Is this possible?

Also considering attaching a small touchscreen to access the server from a central point hardwired to the Pi, but that sort of thing might be beyond my current ability.

All comments welcome, thanks!

I'm a linux n00b, but I guess this post, even if related to other platform might be a good start.
