I have moved though linux audio hifi systems quite a bit and i always seem to come back to MPD. i have landed here with Rune and i think i'll be staying a while.
There's one thing though. I used XBMC for a couple of years and my favourite thing was the "Recently Added" feature.
With large and growing music collections, it is easy to get lost in your own tastes. I think being able to sort music by the time that it was added changes a lot for me.
I go through various habits and genres with my music listening. Ideally i would like to be able to add a bunch of albums and know what was the latest addition.
I have looked around for this and some people have done it with playlists and bash scripts.
If there's anyone who could built this in or around Rune, that would be awesome.
