Reducing boot time

Postby ianhaynes » 03 Jun 2015, 09:21

My Pi 2 + IQAudio Dac takes several minutes to boot up and it would be good to reduce this time. I'm sure I recall a post with a solution to this but can't find it via the forum search.

Is there a way to reduce the boot time? Can anyone point me to the solution?

I too got the message

" No regular unit file found for profile 'netctl-auto@wlan0' "

when executing stop netctl-auto@wlan0

but disabling with 'systemctl disable netctl-auto@wlan0' did work.

Boot time is now about 35 seconds compared to over two minutes before.

Thanks again.
