Rpi B+ v0.3 + AudioQuest DragonFly V1.2 = No sound

Kindly have a look at my issue NO SOUND

Rpi B+ v0.3 sound nicely with HRT microstreamer and TEAC UD-501, but no luck with DragonFly V1.2

I had try Volumio, also no luck. DragonFly worked nicely with Windows box or Android 5.0.

I guess reading and searching through the forums is too difficult for you......as this has been addressed a bunch of times.....my DragonFly works just fine in my B+

try checking your alsamixer

Actually I had google a lot and try alsamixer but no luck. Could you post your debug data on working Pi+ Dac? Thanks.

interesting...then I assume you hit the F6 key in alsamixer to select the DAC? it will take me a bit to switch my setup over to get the debug info for you. Currently my B+ is plugged into my Rotel DAC, but I will take the time to swicth over for you.

From what I see of your debug it looks good, but I aint no expert.

My setup is DragonFly and my powered USB hub are in 2 of the USB slots of the Pi. My wireless and USB drive are plugged into the hub. For this debug, I removed the drive so it wont show up in there.

Also I have the version 1 of the DragonFly....I see you have DSD enabled but I dont believe that it can do DSD...

Still no luck here. Pi B +DragonFly V1.2, try with alsamixer,.. both Rune and Volumio.

I am trying with Pi MusicBox now and see...

have you tried to switch between different kernel version? You can do that right from the UI in the Settings screen (a reboot is required after that). Try to pick a older kernel and see if there's come difference.

for 0.3beta I did NOT have to switch any kernels or the startup parameters. for the 0.3alpha I did make those changes as I have documented in other threads on this issue.

I suppose if you really want I can try and make you an image for you to test with from a backup of mine.....
