RPi wont boot

Hi all,

I am trying to use RuneAudio with a Raspberry Pi 1 Model B and a PiFi Digi v1.1. However when i connect the power to the Pi it won't boot. The power LED on the PiFi lights up but the LED's on the Pi don't.

If I remove the PiFi the Pi boots per normal with no issues.I suspect that some how the PiFi is causing the Pi to get insufficient power but have no idea how to test this.

Any tips or ideas on how to problem solve this?

From my point of view there might be two possibilities to overcome this behaviour:

1. To use a more powerful 5VDC power supply (without further informations I would assume that a single power supply should be able to deliver 1.5 ... 2A).

2. To feed the two devices from two different power supplies (if possible)
