I am running BubbleUpnp on my Android phone to stream from my NAS to a Raspberry Pi running Rune Audio headless.
The Pi IP address is dynamic, but everytime it changes, BubbleUpnp loses connection with the Pi.
I can restart BubbleUpnp but it won't find the Pi unless I restart the Pi.
However I can still control the Pi with a browser direct to Rune Audio.
I would prefer to use BubbleUpnp as it has better search functions.
I've tried to give the Pi a static IP in Rune but I'm not having much luck with that at the moment.
As far as I can see, Rune won't save a static IP unless you update to the nightly build.
When I follow the instructions here , it stops at 61%. Restarting gives you a dead Pi.
So I have two questions:
1. Does BubbleUpnp lose connection when you use a dynamic IP?
2. If so, how can I set a set a static IP in Rune Audio?
I'm cross posting this on Rune Audio and BubbleUpnp just in case.
