I've added the support for Open Web App in Rune UI :D https://github.com/RuneAudio/RuneUI/pull/15
I've promise this support to Um3ggh1U

With this pull request the web interface check if the browser is Firefox based and support the Open Web App standard.
In this case a popup was showed that ask to the user if he want install the app as an hosted webapp.
This system is supported on Firefox Desktop, Firefox for Android and Firefox OS.
In this way the web interface is saved like a native app in Firefox Desktop and Firefox for Android while in Firefox OS is an app.

Hey everyone, I'm Chris and I've been messing around with my Raspberry pi for about a year.
My current set up includes:
Raspberry Pi version B
Wolfson Audio Card (from June 2014)
Tenda WiFi dongle
60gb USB thumb drive

I am super stoked about my set up. I previously had Volumio as my MPD, but decided to switch over to Rune as it seems to be the most solid option. I got it to work great with the latest release of Rune, but since i updated to the 0.3 Alpha, i do not get any audio output from the Wolfson card. I did switch kernals to the Experimental Wolfson version, but no luck.

I tried to find the wolfson drivers via ssh [root] so I could manually set the output type, but i could not find them anywhere. Does anyone know where these would be located? How does Rune choose the output type?

Here is the link for the debug log:

Thanks!
Chris

0.3 with a wolfson working really well for me so far, after banging my head against a wall with volumio for a couple of hours setup of rune audio was a breeze.

One problem discovered so far:
Audible 'popping' when playing iTunes (ALAC) -> AirPlay.
Playing the same files from SMB share with mpd fine. No obvious problems on the box shairport taking about 12% of CPU during playback

Nice to have:
Be able to switch between headphones / lineout on the wolfson via the UI to save having to log in and run the scripts.

Keep up the good work!

Sometime in the last week playing with 0.3 something seems to have changed on me....now I cant seem to connect to the network when I first plug in my equipment. I have to wait for the HD to finish indexing and then unplug and replug the Pi and I work again...also I seem to only be able to connect now through one device but not others....not sure but it could be my router starting to die...

Will probably test with 0.2 to see if it still happens...

just thought I'd share :)

I too am having issues with IE11 on both Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 x64 in that every time you go to a page you get the progress indicator and the page does not refresh. To get around this you have to (Ctrl)F5. It works perfectly ok in Firefox.

I have also tried adding BBC Radio 2 URL http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r2_aaclca.pls but this does not work but the Dirble radio links work ok.

I love the work you have done on this and I am looking forward to the next version.

One thing I am not keen on is the blue message boxes that appear when you do anything, they obscure other things especially on Windows Phone.
I would also like to see just a play option rather than add to playlist

EDIT
I cant put my finger on it but there seems to be a problem using WiFi on my Pi, I have a WiPi USB dongle which I can use to connect to RuneAudio but when I add anything from the library to play I am not getting any sound.

Keep up the great work and thanks
