VFAT is short for virtual file allocation table. It is a driver. It basically functions as a go between between a application and a file allocation table. It isn't the format of your drive. If you haven't actually formatted the drive it is probably FAT32. It is kind of a strange issue you're having. Do you have upnp turned on in the router settings? I would connect the drive to your Ubuntu machine and double check the permissions on the music files. If they have somehow been placed under the ownership of a single user rather than giving access to "Everyone" it could explain the issue your seeing.

CUE files are now supported in the RuneUI - they are showed and they can be added to playlist.

Hi there,

Just here to report that I stayed around after the initial glitches and must say it just sounds fabulous with my hifiberry. Also the ui has not suffered freezes after the gitpulls. Everything including my usually problematic TP-link 725n vII dongle works fine! SO I am quite pleased and impressed for that matter! Only really minor issue ist that it will not audibly play any DSD files (I have have only 3 for testing). It does seem to play and some rumbling and recognizable audio is played at extremely low volume, but it is not usable.

But when looking at at the practical side of things:
Could it be a good option to replace the download image with an up to date one under the same name? At this time I am quite reluctant in advising fellow audio enthousiasts in downloading rune because of the trouble in the initial 29 oct image. For people with less linux knowledge it is quite a struggle to get thought the ui freezes and remain enthousiastic enough to not get discouraged and keep going.....

So would it be a big deal to replace the current download with one that fixes the main trouble till thusfar?
