Also as a test I did a fresh flash and have ONLY done git pull no pacman updates and I unfortunately get the spinner upon bootup. The only thing that fixes it is restarting the rune_PL_wrk task via UI or cli. Almost seems like a possible timing problem....not sure if anyone is seeing the same...

About my previous post, 2 days ago: SD card was broken... The only problem that stays now I have a new SD card is an empty library tab. :(

Image

I can fix this using ctrl+F5, but I have to do this very often. I am using the latest version using GitPull. I use FireFox 34.0.5 on Windows 7. Furthermore I have the feeling That Vo***** 1.2 which fitted on an old 2GB SD card responds much faster.

I like to use RuneAudio because it looks much better and has many good features and an active community. But this empty tab and a much slower response is very unpleasant.

But overall, good work! Many great improvements and good support on this forum!

PS: My two colleagues really like the concept and the convenience.

I updated RA via CLI and restarted the PL and SY services via systemctl. I can confirm that the spinning arrows still occur on the Android stock browser and other browsers, including: Dolphin (without Jetpack), Light Browser, Lightning Browser, Javelin Browser. I can see the new spinners underneath the large arrows, however. Reset cache on all browsers as well. Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

I'm using Firefox on my PC and also tried IE and Chrome. They all have the same issue, but on my Ipad (using safari) I don't have the problem. I'll try to play around with the cache parameters, but if cache is cleared every time I leave the page, won't it take very long to load the page? I know that ctrl+F5 takes at least 30 seconds.

Probably it's something with my PC since it looks like I'm the only one with this problem. Makes me feel special :o

Fixed the problem of wrongly displayed web radio cover (thank you hondagx35 for pointing out the typo!):

Issue with Firefox 34.0.5:
I already told that Firefox has issues with the rune audio library tab, but I found out a few interesting things:
- I can fix the empty library tab in Firefox by starting Google Chrome and go to runeaudio.local. The library tab is fixed directly every time.
- I can do the same with Firefox. I open a second Firefox tab and go to runeaudio.local. The library tab is fixed in the first browser tab. :o On the second tab the library tab is also empty. But now it comes: I open a 3th browser tab and go to rune audio and in the second browser tab the library tab is fixed. :P

Last option feels even more like magic: When the library tab is empty in the firefox browser. Loading runeaudio.local on the tablet fixes the empty library tab in Firefox...

I don't have much knowledge about website development, but I thought this could be helpful.

Just installed 1.3 beta and every things works beautifully. I am using a hifiberry dig+ feed a Beresford Bushmaster MKII DAC. Love the new browse by album functionality on the Library tab and sound is top notch. I moved my setup from Raspberry Pi B to B+ and the previous USB HD setup failed to work. I read that there is a config change to /boot/config.txt that might increase the power to USB from 500mA to 1200mA.

Do you know if this will work with runeaudio distro. Just trying to avoid a usb hub and the subsequent clutter.
