Re: RuneAudio 0.3-beta for Raspberry Pi - Issues with iPad 1

Hi everybody,
do you have any idea why with with an iPad 1.0 I have the dreaded "spinning wheel" while connecting issue?
I have the same problem both with Safari and Chrome.

I'm using a Raspberry B+ with Rune 0.3. Beta.

If of any help, if I go to the /dev page (from iPad 1 Safari/Chrome) it works.
Then I tried a git pull from there and I got a repeated message like "...invalid socket....."

On my Ipad 3 both Safari and Chrome do work.

Any idea?

Thanks
franz

Every time I boot the RPI the MPD database will automatically update...this is quite annoying when I want to play a HD flac without waiting the update to be completed (during the update the HD flacs do not play smoothly). Does anybody know a way to disable this feature? I wish to start Rune with the last saved database and just perform manual updates only at my command. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi

I am attempting to get Rune working on a Raspberry Pi2.

I have absolutely ZERO computer knowledge or experience.

Please help.

With my heart in my mouth I followed the instructions to flash the SD card.

It all seemed to work OK but I can't connect with my browser.

I checked the router for IP addresses and the RPi does not show up.

I have an HDMI screen attached to the RPi and the second last line says

"PANIC: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(179,2)

Entering kdb (current=0xee460000, pid 1) on processor 1 due to Keyboard Entry
(1)kdb"greater than symbol"

The 0.3 release that you are probably using is for Raspberry Pi A/B/B+ only, not 2. There's a thread on this forym about the Raspberry Pi 2 with SD card images to flash for you. The next release (0.4 ?) will be compatible with all Raspberry Pis

Thanks Aquarius

I went to http://www.runeaudio.com/download/ and downloaded the one linked from Raspberry Pi 2.

Are you saying that download doesn't actually work for the Raspberry Pi 2?

Actually I had not seen this link before. That should be what you're looking for.
Reading your first message, it's probably a problem with the sdcard image. You may want to flash the downloaded image again on your sdcard and verify that there are 2 partitions inside.
