I've downloaded the beta image but can't use it at present . In the front room system I have the same problems as with the alpha release . I have no hardware volume control with DiyInHK XMOS soundcard . The UI also became unresponsive . Have tried Firefox , IE and Chrome , also restarted MPD . I have moved the SD card to the PI I was running in the workshop with a PiDac and now have responsiveness but I have no amp here at present as it's being torn down and rebuilt No issues mounting the NAS and this time I followed ACX's advice and used USB imaging tool . The UI on the PiDac'd Pi seems responsive but only with Firefox and Chrome . I think I'll have to ditch the USB DAC and get another PiDac for the front room .

Time to get cracking with the amp !
