Hi,
I thought I would let everyone know that I successfully and quite easily installed hpeter's 0.3 build for the Pi Zero on the WD Pidrive Node Zero,
Initially I followed the instructions in this Youtube video which uses Pimusic box. However, I wanted to use Runeaudio instead. I'm still a real neophyte with Linux so I followed the instructions to the point where the drive was added, partitioned and formatted. I also loaded all of my music on the drive before shutting down Raspbian and switching to the Runeaudio image. I'm sure you Arch Linux experts could bypass most of this stuff and do it from the RA command line.
I should note that although I had a usb wifi dongle, I used a USB ethernet dongle, attached via a hub, to login using the Web GUI and setup wifi. After that, I pulled the ethernet cable and did the remaining setup over Wifi. I'm sure the more experienced among you would know how to do this from the command line using a keyboard, mouse and monitor.
The drive was recognized as a USB drive and automatically mounted. I ran the music sync and in no time music was playing through a USB DAC.
My next step will be to add a 2x20 header and add a DAC through the GPIO.
In the meantime, here are the links that you need:

I'm pretty excited about 0.4 and, in particular, the built in AP feature as well as wider DAC support. My hope is to use this setup in my camper this summer to play through my stereo aux input. I do have a wifi repeater in there, but having the ability to set up the Zero as its own AP means that I don't need to use the repeater. In essence, I can use Runeaudio on the Nodezero as a supercharged MP3 player when I'm off the grid!
