This is probably a issue in many cases but im going to tell you what i did incase it helps anyone. I was using airpay to play music through my ipad and it seemed a little jittery. So, I decided to play around with the settings. I changed the audio profile from runeaudio to linux and now my rune audio device is playing music but i cannot connect to the GUI. It just showsthe connecting arrows for an endless amount of time. Any help would be appreciated.
