Runeaudio Network File Sharing Protocol

Postby some_guy() » 16 Jun 2016, 17:42

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what protocol Runeaudio uses to share a connected USB drive to the network?

The reason that I ask is that I'm trying to set up a network share from my NAS to OS X (this doesn't have anything to do with Runeaudio yet). No matter what I do I'm not able to get OS X to reliably connect to my NAS.

Here is where Runeaudio comes in - OS X is able to see the my Runeaudio player (Raspberry Pi 2 - Model B) on the network and is also able to browse the music on the USB drive attached to the Pi so I figure that if I can find out what protocol Runeaudio is using to share the contents of the USB drive on the network and use that protocol to configure my NAS I might succeed in shareing a folder from my NAS to OS X.

Any help would be much appreciated.
