Rern
I have been using RuneAudio e1.x on a Pi 3B for some while, with few of the problems reported here. Last night I flashed a new SD card to RA+R e1.2 and created a new small USB drive formatted to Ext4. As this was a 'new' installation I was happy to work through the setup of the system once it booted into RA. I applied the 20191001 updates before creating the Source which was an NFS share from my NAS (Open Media Vault v4.1.25) which I have been using for a long while. All went well and after a final reboot I updated the RA Library with both my NAS basis music and the 15 or so web radio stations I general use. This morning I have applied the 20191004 update you have recently released. I seem to have a stable useable system again . I use a wired access to RA so I have disbaled wireless and bluetooth access, with all my music coming from my NAS and none stored locally on USB/SD.
I have however noted a couple of things which might be of use to others.
The setup has been stored to the USB drive, however the folders are now created under '/data' on the USB drive where they used (in e1.0/1.1) to be created in the root folder of the USDB drive.
I created the NAS NFS connection manually via the USB and NAS + button on the Sources page. In e1.0/1.1 the NFS path was /Music/iTunes/Music however in e1.2 this has changed (back) to /export/Music/iTunes/Music. This isn't a problem for me as this is the way it used to be in RA 3/4/5.
Please keep up your excellent work on this version of RA. It would be interesting to know how what you are doing fits in with that of Janui, Hondagx35 and ACX and that you are all working together on future updates to RA rather than fragmenting what is a very good product.
Many thanks
Chris
