Hi

I've been trying to get your version up and running but in my part of the universe, it just doesn't seem to work out of the box.

Due to space constrictions I'd like to use the access point for initial wireless network config.

Yet no matter what I try, there is no way any of my wireless devices can connect to the AP network... I can 'see' it just fine

I also tried a lan cable into a simple switch, connected to my pc's lan port (I have to rely on wireless for internet access on my pc as well), also a negative

I can see the device is up and running by connecting a screen to it but even with the help of a local keyboard and mouse, there is no way to be able to even access the correct page to scan for and input the wifi details.

I also tried to install from janui's version but that no longer works as well

so a genuine 'help please ?' is in order :|

RPi3B+ RuneAudio+Re1 --> runs but cannot be configured
RPI3B+ RuneAudio v 0.5b11 -> does run and can be configured, no addons/enhancements

on another note : I've noticed the image referred to in the first post of this thread has been uploaded from thailand ? I believe Rern is based in Holland ?

Thanks
D

Hi rern,

I am still using 0.4b, which serves my needs, but a non-technical friend using 0.3 asked if I could help with an update. The idea was for me to set up an SD card which he could just plug in and use.

Updating to the +R e1 enhanced UI on 0.4 resulted in no UI at all, so I gave 0.5 +R e1 a go.

The AP lit up, but I could not connect with DHCP. If I used a fixed IP 192.168.5.2, I could connect, but could not communicate, rather as if the AP was using WEP protocol.

I gave up on the AP and tried a wired connection. The wifi setup does not allow for a hidden SSID, and just copying a config file into netctl did not work.

So, is the UIe now only available as the 0.5 RuneAudio+R e1 package, or should Addons still be an installable option for 0.4?

Thanks for the reply rern.

One other thing: I have a Webradio folder, but I am not sure where this needs to be copied to now. Will it still be imported from /mnt/MPD?

About bitperfect: RuneAudio+R e1 includes an option to select MPD bitperfect setting.

Do you know what this exactly means (isn't this possible as option using the Rune 0.5b version)?

Hi Rern,

With your last available version "R_e1", I succeed to have control buttons and LCD working again together (I am using RuneAudioLCDMod, with some tweeks works great).

But... I am curious and would like to know how to solve the addons server not available message..
I have seen in Github, your RuneAudio+R_e1 page and observe when downloading the master.zip, it only "weight 66kB", far from the Gigas of the original image. It looks like you upload only the changes? Right?

How to proceed to include those modificacions in the Pi3+ since hss session if my observacion is correct?

Best regards, Chris
