Rern
Sorry this is the first chance I have been able to get back to you since earlier today.
You asked "Is there a reason to relay your Webradios via MininServer?"
I have been doing this since the early days of RA 0.3/0.4 as a way to be able listen to the higher quality 320kb UK BBC national radio streams. I could also do these using RA+Re2 as well. These BBC streams are only available in the UK where I live and I need to use a very specific URL that couldn't originally be handled by RA and had to be served via MinimServer. I have done this successfully for several years until the recent changes in RA+Re3.
R101 provided a couple of alternative url steams for some of these stations earlier in the week. I have also found a website which can provide .m3u8 FILES (not direct url streams) which I can download and play in VLC. I can also import these files into RA+Re3 web radios by placing the files in /srv/http/data/webradios however I cannot get them to play. The files are typically called bbc_radio_two.m3u8 and contain:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-VERSION:3
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=339200,CODECS="mp4a.40.2"
http://as-hls-uk-live.bbcfmt.hs.llnwd.n ... ewind.m3u8I can play the MinimServer BBC streams as a UPnP stream, not as a web radio station, and once one of these streams starts there is a blue UPnP banner across the bottom of the browser screen (as uploaded previously) which prevents me getting back to the Library, Playback and Playlist screens thus loosing control of RA unless i open an SSH connection and enter the 'mpc clear' command' - not very friendly at all.
Regards.
Chris
