WRT install of "RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img" -

Raspberry Pi 3 B reveals this release does not list the HIFIBerry DAC+ or DAC+ Pro as an option under MPD configure.

Powering on R-Pi 3 with this release only provides selection of standard headphone jack or HDMI only.

How would a person go about fixing this ?

You have to enable the hat dac in /boot/config.txt. Please see this post by Frank (hondagx35):



If not clear, someone will be happy to walk you through it step by step.
