Running on Cubieboard 2

Hi!

I see the Cubietruck (Cubieboard 3) is supported but actually not so different from Cubieboard 2.
Which I have.
I'd like to try RuneAudio on my Cubieboard 2.
Is there any problems I have to count upon?

PS: In my point of view there is no need for a truck for media player but I understand Cubietruck is a newer product and probably the most supported. If it works flawlessly on CB2, then I recommend it to show next to CT on the download, as it probably will. More people will try it.

I did get it running but that was a lot of tweaking and the early stages of Frank's cubietruck development. It should all work but there may be some exceptions. Although it would be nice to have, there's not as many audio options(apart from USB) on the CB2. Where there are people who have added spdif, it is pretty rare.

To be honest, I'm quite surprised. I much prefer the form factor of the CB2 over the CBtruck and the truck has way more than what is needed for an audio server. But that's just me.

Do post an image or guide of you get it running, that would be ace.

having "only" USB as audio option is already plenty actually.
I am not an expert, thus I am not qualified to modify the OS, so I am looking for an out of the box solution.

Hi all,

the image itself isn't the problem.

The only thing that is different is the bootloader.
You can try to replace it with the cubieboard2 bootloader.

As i do not own a cubieboard2 i am not able to test this.
