samba write permissions

Postby charleskelly » 11 Feb 2015, 00:34

So, I've been using samba to access my usb key on my pi through the windows file explorer by entering the ip. All folders show up but it appears to be in read only. I cannot edit or add any files on the usb drive. I've checked my smb.conf and all the read only lines are set to "no".
My rune audio is also set into dev mode. Any suggestions?

[EDIT]

After doing some playing around, it appears only my usb key folder is write protected. All other folders can be written to with ease. Also when I right click on my usb folder and look at the properties read only is selected, I cannot change this however and I imagine it will have to be done from the pi itself. Any ideas?
