set up as access point now cant mount network storage

Postby toastytoy » 06 Oct 2016, 05:43

I have an ethernet cable running to the pi3 and set it up as a wifi access point so i can control with my cell phone as per the instructions in this page:
rpi-runeaudio-wifi-as-accesspoint-control-t972-10.html

everything went great and the wifi works as does spotify, but now when i try to mount my music folders from a windows 7 machine, i keep getting "mount error(13): Permission denied", no matter what i do. I admit i am a kind of a noob so there may be somthing i am overlooking.Yes i did look at this link:

trying-to-access-music-on-windows-7-pc-t138.html

And just about every other link on this webpage so please dont send me there.

Any help would be appreciated.
