Silent Gaps of a few seconds while playing FLAC files

The gaps in playback vary but have been up to 12 seconds.

I haven't noticed it on any other types of files.

There's nothing too exotic about my set-up, except perhaps using Powerline plugs to create the wired connections from the Pi to the router, and the NFS server to the router. They're rated at 500Mbps.

I've also the Wolfson DAC.

I'm absolutely loving the system otherwise, the sound is gorgeous

Ok, so I feel a little foolish now.

I increased the 'Audio Buffer Size' to 2048, and the 'Buffer before Play' to 30% - everything seems great!

I've had 30 mins of FLAC playback without a hitch!

The sound quality still has me smiling in amazement, like I've had cotton wool removed from my ears.

I understand that the Wolfson card works for you! Can you tell me your setup? I have checked your debug file and don't seem to have any different than mine. However, I don't any sound.

I followed the instructions from this post:

Worked for me, although if you're in a rush - just copy the 'Playback_to_Lineout.sh' file to the SD card (either over ssh / Putty) or just putting into another pc and copying it.

Once the Pi is rebooted, then ssh / Putty in and type './Playback_to_Lineout.sh' and good few lines of text will scroll by and then pick a song and enjoy!

Assuming you are streaming from a NAS then try this ..

Go to Menu > Sources and Remount All Sources
