Spotify Broke Rune

Postby whitedragon551 » 05 Nov 2015, 03:18

I setup Rune for our company audio system and we purchased a Premium Spotify account.

It played fine for a night. This morning a coworker started adding some music to the playlist and eventually Rune froze up. The GUI in settings got mis-aligned and eventually was unusable. Had to reinstall to get anything to work.

Is there a limit on how many songs can be on a playlist in Spotify?

Whats the best way to manage the playlist?

Has anyone else seen this happen and have a fix?

At one point i went to reboot the machine and it never came back online.

I had a similar result. Everything seemed to work before configuring my new Spotify Premium account. After that, I was unable to play any other media. I had just over 100 titles from Spotify in the queue. I emptied the queue and tried to start a radio web station, but the GUI locked up ("connecting"). After rebooting, the GUI was still locked up "connecting". Attempted rebooting several times.

I have a Raspberry B+ with wired ethernet and a C-Media DAC.

Noticed that Spotify support is beta only. Suppose I will have to reload the software and stay away from Spotify for a while.
