Spotify playback hangs and cannot switch back to MPD

Running the stable release on Rpi3 and have been constantly experiencing hangups when playing in Spotify mode. The RuneUI can be navigated but it fails to switch to MPD and to toggle the Spotify setting on/off as well. I have attached the debug data link. Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Thanks for the response Frank! I'll be running the system on wired connection to test stability and provide feedback. Would you suggest going the external wifi route for stability if going wireless? I understand the rpi3 is relatively new and it's hardware is not fully supported.
