stream audio from windows/ubuntu

Hi there,
I'm new to this and have no experience with runeaudio or raspberry pi
Is it possible to use a raspberry pi with rune audio on my local network as my laptop "remote speakers" ?.
What I mean is: stream the sound output from my laptop directly to the raspberry via wifi.

Hi ,

RuneAudio supports UPNP/DLNA out of the box.
So it's no problem to stream content from your PC to your RaspberryPi.

One possibility is to use Windows Media Player.
How to configure this on your Windows PC see for example .
Your RuneAudio device doesn't need any configuration at all.
