Support for dacberry2/3+ ?

Postby prometh » 20 Nov 2014, 13:41

Hi all,

I was just wondering if these two DACs are supported by rune audio right now:
Tekdevice dacberry2+ and/or dacberry3+ ?

http://tekdevice.com/chapter2/index.php ... uct_id=115

Thanks!

Hi prometh,
this DAC uses the ES9023 chip, so please take a look at this thread:

Unfortunately I ordered the ES9023. Lets see. Anyway I'm still curious whether it will arrive, even though it's a US company, they ship from Honk Kong...

I just recieved a dacberry3+. It does something using the hifiberry setting, however output volume is very low and mainly noise. It might be just broken, but I think in general its supported already. Btw. same thing using volumio where its supposed to work properly.

EDIT: Nvm was an issue of the power supply, the dacberry3+ works fine, just no hardware volume control even though according to the manufacturer it should be working.
