Support for hidden SSID Wireless networks

Postby SteveC » 20 Aug 2015, 14:37

I would like to be able to connect to wireless access points where the Service Set IDentifier is not broadcast, by entering the hidden SSID on the Rune player Network GUI, instead of (or as well as) selecting a visible SSID. At home, my SSID is broadcast, but if I take my Raspberry PI to work, I connect to a hidden network.

Alternatively, any hints on manually setting multiple WPA-2 networks in the wpa-supplicant.conf file?

Thanks for all the work on this project

Thank you, Frank
I have loaded the dev build, following the instructions, and can now add a new Wireless profile to connect to the hidden SSID.
I see this build also has enhancements to the hardware mixer control. I will check this over the weekend
