[bug] systemctl reboot causes music to stop after few secs.

Postby neophyte » 09 Jun 2016, 07:38

When i use the command systemctl reboot in terminal, it causes the following:

Next time i try to play song, it stops after a few seconds, and the webinterface stops working.
SSH still works.

If I power the device off and on again, It's the same, () now without using the command
After this I had to reinstall runeaudio on the SD card.
It's like the command causes a ireversibel state, or somehow messes up some configuration.

I have tried this two times.
I'm running on a RPi3 + Hifiberry dac+ pro.

Any ideas what's wrong?
Which command should I use instead?

Hi neophyte, have you tried with a simple "reboot" command? Btw, why don't you reboot the device prom the UI (Menu > Turn off > Reboot)?

I have to reboot when I make some changes to the config over ssh, in order to make them take effect.

I was'nt aware that you could reboot in the webui. However it's still more convenient to do it over ssh, if you're already working in there.

I have tried just "reboot" and it seems to work.
The reason I used systemctl reboot, is that I'm novice and somehow thought it was the correct way reboot.
