Tags ID3v1 0r ID3v2?

Hi ALL !
I'm using a third party client mainly because I like the library views. Hopefully, Runeaudio eventually comes with a more extensive featured Library view.
In the mean time, I use Cantata and MPDroid. I have problems with tags. Some genres are just ignored. Question: is Runaudio scanning ID3v1 or ID3v2, or both?
Thanks a lot for the great work done. Runeaudio is a great project. A pi with Runaudio brings joy to my living room.

Not sure about ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags, but I suspect the answer is both. But I wouldn’t worry about this, it just works.
