The name "runeaudio"

A rune is an symbol or character that usually represents a letter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runes. The logo is a rune. I don't know where it comes from, I did a quick look and can't find any runes that look like it. The one that looks like an R has the name raido which sounds an awful lot like radio, but I guess the creators will have to answer this one.

We didn't chose that.
It was announced by the great Nordic Lord of Sound, who once spoke to me through my speakers and told me:
"Thou that art the chosen one, the power of the runes is with thee! Prophet art thou among the audiophiles"
And the rune appeared in front of me, glowing bright blue light.

...or, well... nothing of that
We simply liked the name and the idea to have a mystic rune as icon of the project. It adds a little of mystery/magic to our ordinary work
