It seems that certain people see my message regarding Moode is seen as some kind of betrayal to RuneAudio. It is not intended to be.
I am still a happy RuneAudio user on my R-pi B i.c.w. HifiBerry, so it's not that I want people to switch to Moode, so if you will wait for the RA-version for the Pi 3 please do so. But since I got my Pi 3 already and wanted to use it for audio Moode is quite easy (for people with some linux skills) to make it available for the Pi 3. As soon as RuneAudio is available I will try it too. I have tried all 3 offspring versions of RaspiFy (Volumio, Moode and RuneAudio) during the time I am using the Raspberry Pi for audio and all are good but also have their own difficulties.
Although RuneAudio and Volumio are stable there is little development (at least visible to the users - I assume that RA-developers are busy with lots of things including their private life). Moode is a version that is updated very often and I like to be able to test new stuff and also assist in testing new versions.
I also play/test audio with Logitech Media Server variants (Squeezeplug/max2play for the Pi and Daphile for x86), of other MPD-based variants (e.g. AudioPhile Linux for x86)
So, for those who have a Pi 3 but want to stay with RA just wait a little longer and enjoy RA
