Unable to find Device

Postby Nitro » 22 Mar 2016, 21:27

Hi guys, im new to the whole Raspberry Pi , I have a good running version of RetroPie on my Pi 2, I have since bought a Raspberry Pi 3 model B and i would like to use it as an Music Player. I have downloaded (RuneAudio_rpi2_0.3-beta_20150304_2GB) unzipped it and used Win32DiskImager to place it onto an 8gb Micro SD card.

I put the card into the Pi 3, used an Ethernet cable to connect the Pi to my BT Home Hub 5 router , then powered up the Pi wuth a 5v 2amp plug and nothing seems to work. The small light on the Pi at the Ethernet cable dont seem to light up. I have downloaded the RuneAudio App on my samsung phone and when it tries to connect, it finds nothing.

Not sure if im missing something obvious, hopefully its a simple fix. Im not the best at electronics and computers, Im much more at home rebuilding the internal combustion engine. Anyway, any help would be appreciated

Thanks, Nathan
