Unable to get AirPlay to Appear on Device

I'm still fairly new to using the Rasberry Pi 3 and rune audio but I have had issues getting AirPlay to work properly on my iphone. AirPlay is enabled in settings along with a different name, but nothing appears on my device. Any words of advice?

I second that. So far, I've never been able to stream music to Rune from an iPhone or a Mac via Airplay.
The name of the device differs from the one that is preset in Rune and even if the counter is running I get no sound at all.

Airplay (shairport) seems to have problems with recent IOS versions.

With next version we will switch to shairport-sync.

i did some test with a RP3 and it works from my Android device and my Windows PC.
As i do not own MAC devices i am not able to test it.
