unable to mount my HDD attached to my router

Postby bains » 21 Feb 2016, 07:15

Hi,

i have a USB attached to my router(ZTE ZXV10 H201L) which can be accessed from my windows machine under

\\SMBSHARE\samba\usb1_1 or \\192.168.1.2\samba\usb1_1

the same can be browsed and played music from in my openelec KODI running on Raspberry Pi.

i recently tried adding the share to my rune audio running on another raspi box, however continuously getting errors of unable to mount.

error: mount error(2): No such file or directory Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

I am assuming that i am naming the destination wrongly, please help with steps to troubleshoot this.

Hi bains,

you have to enter the settings like this:

Please check your router for the share name.
