up-sample the CD quality 16/44.1 to 24/96?

Could anyone tell me how to up-sample the CD quality 16/44.1 to 24/96?

My Dac is having problem to play song which in different quality i.e. 16/44.1 & 24/96. I need to up sample all song in order to play properly.

I'm using mac sys, I tried to use cyber duck to access the PI and modify the etc/ mpd.config by adding a line of "format 96000/24" however, I find that the mpd.config can't be saved. (I'm not sure whether my method correct or not.)

we already discussed many times the issue of the non sticking edits to the mpd.conf file, a patch is going to arrive soon for that. Keep an eye in the main thread of the 0.3-beta.
