update to MPD 0.18.16

Ok, my next advice is: wait for the 0.3-beta release It will include latest version of MPD (0.18.16).

not sure, but if mpd also updated the ffmpeg package that is probably your problem. When I updated the ffmpeg to the latest version it broke the UI as you described.

I posted this info in my pacman thread if you take a look...
