USB permissions

Postby chris_Wood » 05 Jul 2014, 01:12

In my Macs shared folders I am able to see the MPD USB folder on the raspberry Pi but I am unable to open the folder containing the music files because I 'don't have permission to view files'

Is it possible to allow full access to the USB so I can drag & drop music files to/from my Mac? I know how to log into the system with ssh but after that I'm lost

Many thanks

Chris

I'm also interested in this....
I was able to access the USB drive attached to the PI using ftp (user root), but write permission is only for user mpd.
Is they any way to gain "write" access to the USB mounted disk?

Thanks

well at the very least you can add that to rc.local so it happens automatically on reboot
