volume normalization with mp3gain

I play with mp3gain. but i am not sure what option is the best.
to have pure sound i think all mp3 files must be 89 db what is standard for mp3.
correct me if i am wrong

now i can use 3 options :

mp3gain -r -c file.mp3 > singel file
mp3gain -a -c file.mp3 > Album
mp3gain -k file.mp3 > auto remove clipping (maybe use with the other 2 options )

now i have a structure like this on my hard disk :
.Mp3-|
.........| Albums|
.........................|Artist1|
.....................................|Album1
.....................................|Album2
.........................|Artist2|
......................................|Album1

what option is now smart to use if i wil do all at one in a batch file
find . - name '*.mp3' -exec mp3gain -r -k {} \;

I can do it for every album in a batch with :
find /media/data/music/albums -type d | while read dir; do cd "$dir" && mp3gain -a -k -p *.mp3; done

I think it is the best way...

no one who can help and tell me what is better to use.
-a for album or -r for singel file .

-a is better when you play a whole album. it keep the loudness between nummers on the album.
-r is nice when you make only playlists..

i do both so what is the best todo for me , personal i think the album option to keep dynamic when play a album.
