What am I doing right?

I just purchased a Schiit Modi Multibit. I was prepared to edit the config file or ssh to the root and add code to make the Multibit work correctly with Rune. But the MultiBit worked with Rune right out of the box. Apparently the latest Rune kernel was written to accomodate the Multibit? I have a Pi3.
