Now, everything works! Wifi, Android remote control and monitor.
I pulled out the sdcard and redid the setup to defaults, but added a Kuman sound card (mod the appropriate config line).
Monitor issue was (me) - should not have selected HDMI, I have DVI...
Will leave this post for others...
This worked: un-connect eth0, disconnect eth cable, leave wlan0 connected, physically power off (did NOT use menu>Turnoff)

I’m having difficulty and need some help…
OSX el Capitan, iMac
Pi 3
Rune Audio _rpi2_rp3_0.4
I followed the steps and can play music from mounted flashdrive.
I can control play from only the hardwired (eth0) connection.
Network panel shows both eth0 and wlan0 are connected (green checkmarks). wlan0 signal strength is 70%
Following the WIFI documentation setup, when I get the part of shutting down via the Menu>TurnOff, the “Connecting” circle spins long enough that I cooked and ate breakfast!
So, I unplugged power and powered up but could not connect via Firefox with the wlan0 IP# that was listed in the Network panel with green checkmark.
Summary - These are my issues:
Can’t access via wlan.
Monitor is black (I un-commented config.txt lines indicating possible fixes).
Cannot access RuneAudio Remote from Android (without wlan…)
Can only access/edit files via computer and sdcard
Recommendations appreciated, THANKS!!
