Wifi connection takes time to "wake up"

Postby mmarc » 06 May 2015, 03:35

Hi All,

i connect to my Pi via wifi, but if I have not connected in a while the pi does not respond any more, neither through the web interface nor through a mpd client. After I refresh the web page a few times (30s to one minute) I can connect again.

Last time I tried to ping it to wake it up, and the first 24 pings failed than it succeeded:

The wifi dongle is Edimax EW-7811Un 150Mbps 11n Wi-Fi USB Adapter

Is there some power save mode or something similar that I need to turn off?

Thanks in advance,

Marc
