WiFi Connection to RuneUI on Pi 3

I'm having trouble accessing RuneUI over WiFi with a Raspberry Pi 3
I have the Pi and RuneAudio working properly (playing music through my hifiBerry) over WiFi, but I need the Ethernet connected in order to access the interface on my devices. Any ideas on how to fix this are welcome!

Thanks for your quick reply.

In my web browser (on my windows phone, PC laptop, and windows surface), I am only able to connect to the RuneUI if my pi3 is plugged in to ethernet. Once I have music streaming via Spotify, I can disconnect the Ethernet and the pi3 continues playing music via wifi, but I am unable to connect to runeUI in my web browser until I plug the pi3 back into Ethernet.

The network menu in RuneUI says it is connected to both Wifi and Ethernet (I can only access this while Ethernet is pluged in)

Hi rschwab,

try this:

- boot your Pi with ethernet connected
- setup your wifi connection
- shutdown your Pi
- start your Pi with wifi only (ethernet disconnected)

This should work with DHCP or static IP.
You can not use both at the same time.
