wireless control via Iphone

I am totally new to Rune, so apologies for a newbie question.

I am eager to build a portable system as my Colorfly C4 sounds great but has a horrible user interface and not nearly enough storage.

If I built a portable player based on the IQAudIO Pi-DigiAMP+, is there any way to control the playback from Rune running on my Iphone?

Is there a Bluetooth approach to wirelessly controlling the Pi-DigiAMP+?

Or, does Rune depend on a LAN connection?

Is there an advantage of the HifiBerry DAC and amp kit over the Pi-DigiAMP+?

I have read other forum posts of people trying to do the same thing as me, so it seems possible.

I just wish there was one simple step by step tutorial for the whole process. Perhaps I will make one if I am able to make my project work.

Can you post a schematic of the system you posted a picture of?
